Cobre Bem Tecnologia, 100% certified in 2009 and 2010, has just achieved 100% compliance in 2011, in version 1.2 of PCI DSS, the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard, a worldwide information security standard assembled by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council (PCI SSC) created to help organizations that process card payments prevent credit card fraud through increased controls around data and its exposure to compromise.

The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) was developed to stimulate and upgrade the quality of security for credit card holder data, as well as to simplify the adoption of security measures for data consistency worldwide.
